When will I receive my first issue?
It will take 6-10 weeks for your first issue to arrive. This is the standard industry lead time to start a magazine subscription.
Once your order has been placed, it takes approximately one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the next production cycle and shipped via standard mail. For example, if your monthly magazine subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in July, and the August issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the September mailing.
Publishers ask that you allow 4 to 6 weeks (weekly magazines) and 6 to 10 weeks (monthly magazines) for delivery to start. Other less frequently published magazines may take longer to arrive. If you have not received your subscription within the expected time frame, please send us an email and we will track it down. Keep in mind, your subscription starts when you receive your first issue -- not when you place your orders. If you subscribed for 12 issues in one year, you will receive all 12 issues.
Can I renew my magazines through your service?
Yes! When you select the magazine(s) you want, choose "Renewal" from the drop-down menu labeled "new/renewal". You can also select this from the shopping cart page. When you check out, make sure your shipping address is exactly the same as it appears on the label of your current magazine. We'll take care of the rest!
How do I send magazines to more than one address?
When you check out, you are given the option to change the shipping address for each magazine in your cart. If you are sending multiple copies of the same magazine, for example, sending National Geographic for Kids to each of your grandchildren, you can place the proper number of magazines in your cart, and when you check out, you can specify the delivery address for each magazine. (Even if they reside at the same address, you can specify that the magazine be delivered under their name.)
There is no need to place multiple orders when sending the same magazine to different addresses. Just look for the Change Address button when you are checking out.
How do I send a magazine as a gift?
Great idea - magazines are wonderful gifts! When you check out, you can enter the delivery address of the recipient of your gift. When you have completed checkout, you are given the opportunity to send a free gift e-card which announces the gift to the recipient! You can customize the card with an image, music and a customized message from you, and the card will be sent on the date that you specify.
Is it safe to order online?
When you order a magazine online at Mags4Cheap no one will have access to the information you provide. We use SSL technology which encrypts your order to prevent anyone else from reading it as the information travels from your computer to ours. We do not share your information from any other company aside from the magazine publishers so that they may process your subscription.
What if I have a problem or a question?
Mags4Cheap will help with any questions you have. Simply submit a support request via our online form and we will respond within one business day.
Can I use an address outside of the USA for billing or shipping?
At the present time, we can only accept subscriptions that will be delivered to USA addresses. Canadian addresses may be used for billing.
What if I do not have a credit card or do not want to use it online?
Please contact us using our online form and we will be happy to see if we can devise a solution for you.
How can I change the address for my subscription?
If you are already receiving your magazine subscription, you will need to contact the magazine directly. Check the table of contents page in the magazine or their website for "subscriber services". If you have not yet received your first issue, please contact us using our online form and we will be happy to assist you with changing the delivery address.
Will you auto-renew my subscription?
No. Mags4Cheap will only charge your credit card when you place an order, we do not renew your magazine subscriptions on your behalf. Be careful of other magazine subscription sites that offer "continuous service" subscriptions, as they will enroll you in an auto-renewal service in order to offer lower rates.
Why did you send me a bill in the mail?
Mags4Cheap is a completely online company, and does not send any postcards, bills or other communications through the US mail. Please check the return address of the bill or letter that you have received to determine where it was sent from.
