Submitted By: Marc Tompkins: I remember Gourmet Magazine from when I was a little kid - beautiful photographs of food I couldn't imagine wanting to eat, and recipes for making that food that seemed to require a professional kitchen and a week of free time. Well, either they've changed or I have! The photography is still amazing, and the recipes are for real people, with busy lives and limited budgets. Every month I read it quickly cover-to-cover, then go back and savor my favorites. My girlfriend and I have made at least one or two dishes from each issue since we started getting the magazine, and they've all been successes.
