Submitted By: Sarah J.:I started reading the Atlantic Monthly Magazine looking for well-written, in-depth, and accessible coverage of foreign affairs. I haven't been disappointed. The writing is uniformly strong, and there's a great balance of news and political reporting with short fiction and social commentary. While lately there is almost always an article devoted to the Iraq war, I find that the coverage in general varies widely from month to month, both in terms of topic and perspective. I would definitely recommend it, especially to fans of the New Yorker and Harper's (probably its closest peers) -- though it remains my favorite of the three. 5.0
