I subscribe to approximately four dog publications, but Dog Fancy Magazine is the one I get the most excited to read when it arrives. Before I ever read an actual issue, I assumed that it was probably just a magazine that had little substance and existed only to sell products. Since I own a pet business, I also assumed that the articles would be geared toward the general public and lack substance. Also, since Dog Fancy Magazine has been around for a long time, I assumed that it might be based on outdated knowledge or be boring. I was wrong. Dog Fancy uses interesting writers, includes fun-to-read articles, lots of entertaining photos, and covers very interesting topics well. I learn something new in every issue. Every issue features details about a breed of dog that only furthers my knowledge and goes a long way to being able to better understand my four-legged customers and their humans. I save and catalog every issue.

Dog Fancy Magazine is by far my favorite magazine. I have had dogs from puppy hood up through adult and senior stages and I love the subjects this magazine covers through all aspects of a dog’s life. The breed reviews are excellent, especially for those looking to choose a breed right for their family and lifestyle. I also enjoy the articles to help correct behavior problems and the advertising for new products.

I highly enjoy Dog Fancy magazine. It's my favorite dog magazine out there. I've read many others, but this one is the one I look forward to the most every month. Not only does it feature great articles on different breeds every month (not to mention a poster in every issue), but many great stories and features about dog ownership.
