I have received Golf Magazine for about 3 years and have found some of the issues to be very informative and helpful and other issues to be somewhat silly. Some of the good issues included interesting articles about Golf gear and PGA players. Some of the bad issues include articles entitled, "How to hit it dead solid perfect every time." Yea, whatever, even Tiger doesn't do that. The magazine can be heavy with instruction, so if you like that sort of thing, this magazine is for you.

Golf Magazine and Golf Digest are pretty much two peas out of the same pod. That said, they're both very enjoyable magazines for those of us that play and follow the sport.
I particularly enjoy the tour coverage, and the many Golf tips. Plus the club testing edition with the latest and greatest.
This is an excellent choice as a small gift for a Golfing buddy that doesn't need any more towels or tees.
