American Angler Magazine is one of the few outdoor sportsman magazines that actually focus on the sport rather than advertising. It is obvious that the writers that contribute to this magazine are zealous followers of the sport of fly-fishing and provide useable knowledge for the weekend angler and traveler alike. Each issue is well-rounded and contains in-depth looks at techniques, fly-tying, entomology as well as destinations. There are always a couple of articles in every issue that will peak a person's interest, the editor really seems to have a sense of what anglers are currently looking for in a fly-fishing magazine.

After checking out several different fly fishing magazines, specifically for trout fishing, I determined that American Angler is the best of the bunch. Its features are excellent, and the tips are valuable for all anglers. At the price Mags4Cheap offers, this is a deal that can't be beat.

My son is an avid fly fisherman who fished some of the great streams and rivers in the Colorado high country before entering the corporate world. American Angler magazine is one of the best "Long Rod" magazines out there. Informative, innovative, concise articles on fly-fishing, fly-tying, conservation, travel, and ethics along with superb art and photography make this magazine a winner. If I were marooned on a desert island (in fishing territory) I would expect this magazine to keep me informed, entertained, and current on my sport. Providing, of course, mail delivery could be arranged.
