Yoga Journal Magazine is probably the most widely read yoga magazine in the United States. While it has become a more commercial magazine over the years because of yoga’s increasing popularity in the U.S. it still offers a good selection of variety for any yoga practitioner. From the "Om" page to the articles for beginners to the column for the more advanced practitioner to articles about anatomy, Yoga Journal has it all. Some of the ads have recently brought some controversy but for the most part Yoga Journal is representative of the American Yoga public.

I purchased Yoga Journal Magazine for my mom for Mother's Day. The purchase was easy and inexpensive, and the magazine contains a plethora of helpful information for anyone who enjoys a yoga lifestyle. The articles are clear and concise and the pictures and layout are well designed. Bravo!

Yoga Journal magazine is presented in an airy, refreshing and uplifting layout. The articles are well written and it is very nice to have many pictures shown in the articles where a pose is featured and explained. Also the anatomy articles are described in layman's terms usually with pictures depicting the muscle/body parts featured.
In all it's a very enjoyable magazine.

I have done yoga in classes and from videos, but find Yoga Journal magazine enhances my practice. I especially enjoy it when they focus on a problematic area, such as hips. Positive articles that help improve me as a person or look at the world differently are uplifting. I am glad I subscribed.
