Submitted By: Bernice Anderson:For years, I was a faithful subscriber to Fate Magazine, even had several articles published in it under my pen name, Bernice Couey Bishop. Then when I moved from Rome, Ga. to Nevada, someway my magazines stopped coming. I kept renewing, using the card found in old copies, to no avail. I love this magazine. The articles in it are very thought provoking and I have missed it so much. I had a large collection of old copies but unfortunately they burned up along with my "Georgia things" when a storage unit burned several years ago. 5.0

Submitted By: Leigh:Fate Magazine used to be one of my favorite magazines. The subject matter is fascinating but I rarely get to indulge in reading it anymore.
You see Fate magazine is no longer a monthly magazine. It is SUPPOSED to be a bi monthly magazine but it's not that either. For the SECOND summer in a row Fate Magazine underwent "reorganization" or something similar.
The publishers have become quite remiss. The July/august issue arrived on DECEMBER 1st. They CLAIM (via the telephone number) that the Sept. / Oct. issue is at the printers now and that the Nov. /Dec. issue is to follow immediately. I'll believe it when I see it. In 2008 they were only one issue behind. Until recently they were THREE issues behind this year.
The publishers didn't write an apology or even attempt to contact it's readership during this silent summer. They DID say that everyone who was a subscriber and suffered loss of issues or long wait times would receive ONE EXTRA ISSUE attached to his or her subscription. Given that they are three issues behind I think everyone's subscription should be extened by at least THREE ISSUES...Fair is fair.
When my subscription ends...so will my readership. I will not pay for shoddy service...who knows next year NO issues may be published, at the rate these folks are going. 1.0

Submitted By: Brian Crowley:It was my mother who originally subscribed to Fate magazine, and to this day I still have a collection of those old magazines stored in a filing cabinet. Each issue of Fate delivered to our home offered the promise of opening up new horizons; be it the unearthing of an archeological find, such as the discovery of the location of the ancient city of Troy, or delving into the possibilities of worlds that remain unseen all around us. There was no subject pertaining to the unexplained that Fate did not touch upon. In 1979 a friend presented me with the story of "The Money Pit”; a two hundred year old mystery, at the heart of which lies a buried treasure. She suggested that we should be the ones to solve this mystery. Fate magazine proved to be an invaluable research tool, and on two separate occasions would provide me with definitive answers to questions I sought concerning that mystery. I can literally say that Fate has lent me a hand in this endeavor. I highly recommend this publication to anyone who has an open mind, and a desire to explore all that remains unknown to us. Thank you for continuing to provide such a thought provoking magazine. 5.0
