It is very informative in kid friendly language. The magazine covers one topic per issue and we enjoy learning everything there is to know about each topic. The illustrations and photography are beautiful and support the articles well.

He had some old issues that had belonged to my nephew some 15 years ago, and had been after me for some time to get him a subscription. He absolutely loves the magazine! He reads each edition from cover to cover the day it arrives, and then checks the mail every single day (even Sunday) for the next issue! Part of the beauty of this magazine is that it is never out of date. Like I said, he has issues that are at least 15 years old, but the information is timeless. The pictures are beautiful, and the magazine is written for children, in words they understand. Having his own Zoobooks subscription has really encouraged my son to read. If you have an animal lover in your family, I would highly recommend this magazine for them. 5.0
