Kit Planes magazine is a wonderful magazine for the person that is looking for a plane that is geared toward their own personality. Many airplanes from the commercial factory are designed and built for the mass market, much like many of the beers you find on the shelf at your local supermarket. But with a monthly edition of Kit Planes and a few hundred dollars, anyone can start the process of building the plane of their dreams. I am going to build a plane starting this summer and you can bet that my renewal for Kit Planes magazine delivered to my door is already submitted.

I've built two helicopters and am almost finished with my first kit plane, a Zenith 701 STOL. The articles in Kit Planes Magazine have helped tremendously with all the finish work; corrosion protection, painting, wiring, etc. I read it cover to cover and keep for my personal reference library. A must have magazine subscription for builders or a builder want-to-be.
