[REMINISCE MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Lillian Moss: Reminisce magazine offers wonderful, high quality photographs and stories about the good old days. It's the perfect gift for those who lived through the depression and the war, wonderful for swapping stories and remembering times gone by. My personal interest, however, is historical. As a student of social history, finding Reminisce is like finding a treasure trove of first-hand accounts and original documents. I eagerly wait for it to arrive in the mail. There are no ads, and no distractions—it's all just excellent content.

My family and I enjoy your magazine so much. My 86 year ol mother is reminded of many times in the past. My husband and I reminded of times of our childhood. We read your magazine and save them to read again at a later time. New Jersey is having one of the coldest, snowiest winter in many years. Time to take out old issues of Reminisce Magazine. Thanks to John and Nancy Mueller fo the Acorn squash recipe, Barbara Pizzi for the Bavarian Stew, and Rehaka White for the Barley Mushroom soup. They were all in your magazine in august/ september 2008. They were really good warm recipies to fill a winter sunday afternoon. Always save the magazine. You never know what you find the second time around.

I bought Reminisce Magazine as a gift for my grandmother who loves to remember what life used to be like as a child. I stumbled across it in a waiting room one day, and couldn't put it down. The pictures were fascinating, and the stories were truly interesting. It’s a fantastically fun magazine. I know that if I loved it, my grandmother was definitely going to love it. It served as a birthday gift year round.

I Have enjoyed Reminisce Magazine in the past and want to enjoy it with my new husband. He has seen Reminisce before and we have shared it over the phone together. We are ready for it to come to our home and enjoy it together here. It brings back so many memories from our past and from what we have heard from our parents. It is the best magazine for that warm feeling of yesterday.

I really love reading the various articles and looking at the pictures of times past. So many of the stories remind me of my childhood. Thanks for publishing such an interesting and informative magazine. I just wanted to mention that the article "My Dear Mrs. Wilson . . ." showed a shorthand note pad with shorthand written across the page when, in fact, shorthand was written on the left side of the page (separated by the red line) and after filling up this side of the page, the writer than went to the top of the page and begin writing on the right hand side. This was done because it saved time by not having to move your hand so far on the page. That is why the red line is down the middle. Also, the word "and" is missing from the shorthand version in the second line (between reason and conscience). I also enjoyed shorthand in high school and wrote most of my diary in shorthand as a young woman.

As a young artist, Reminisce Magazine is one of my number one choices for photo studies. I love all the old photos, and interesting facts from the past. We tend to forget what life was like for our parents and grandparents (and great-grandparents, for that matter). What a beautiful addition to my sources, and such an interesting read!

Reminisce is a favorite of mine as well as many folks I pass it along to. I also subscribe to Good Old Days and others. All I ask is, that the people I give the magazines to, drop it off at one of the doctor's offices. I now have the addresses of several senior ladies I play Bingo with and am giving them each a subscription of their own. Thank you for many hours of sheer enjoyment.

When I read the first time the Reminisce Magazine I laughed all the way through it. All the stories and things written by other people just like me brought back many memories of my life. I am 67 years old and it showed me that people are the same everywhere because of the things they wrote about happened to me too. This is the best magazine I have ever read. Want to go back to the past? Just pick up a Reminisce and you will be laughing at all the wonderful things about people.

As a registered nurse I have observed Reminisce Magazine giving many hours of enjoyment to senior aged patients. It is very therapeutic for the elderly to remember happy times across their lifespan. I am in my 40's and I love to page through Reminisce because the stories and pictures make me smile and think about a time when life was simple and family was important. I have recently given a gift subscription to my new mother in law who is 90 years old. I know she will enjoy Reminisce!

I was camping in California and came across "Reminisce Magazine"in the rec. room at a 1000 Trails resort. It was the Oct/Nov. 2006 issue. The front cover caught my eye and needless to say once I started to read I didn't put it down until I read the whole magazine. I never knew that such a magazine existed. The day I found "Reminisce" was my luck day.
