[THE WEEK MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Virginia H Young:
The Week magazine provides a concise review of all the week's news from the perspectives of several very respected newspapers and magazine from both the US and abroad. Because it focuses on the most important issues of the week, it allows one to be well-informed without having to go through the many pages of a daily paper. I have also gained knowledge on subjects that have escaped my notice in the mass amount of print of a huge newspaper.

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Jo Bollen:THE WEEK Magazine is the BEST news magazine printed. I used to read other weekly’s but found all of them biased in one way or another. THE WEEK presents different views of current news stories - very interesting. Now I only read THE WEEK, it covers everything. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: elias:The culture sections are good. Politically it offers a wide range of articles & a page or two of editorial cartoons but the slant is slightly left of center. If you like current popular culture books, music, plays this is an interesting and convenient digest. 2.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Alan Stockman:THE WEEK is the *very best* weekly news magazine for busy people with a variety of news interests. It covers news directly and without filter - providing the same information as an a much longer article in another news weekly. It covers the basic news and also more obscure but important news that you are likely to miss in other magazines. It's not only easy to read, because the writing is so good, but a real pleasure to read. Of course, you'd get more depth in The Economist, if you had time to read it each week. I accidentally let my subscription to THE WEEK expire when I moved, but I've missed it badly and I am resubscribing again! Try this out - you definitely won't regret it! 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Bryan Colombo:In a world obsessed with sound-bytes and catch phrases, it is hard to find a well balanced look at the issues. THE WEEK magazine manages to not only give you today's top stories, but also give you a 360 degree look at the issues. While well balanced and thought provoking opinions abound, THE WEEK manages to deliver on all stories in less than 1/2 a page. Great for the morning commute, or for an afternoon break, I would recommend THE WEEK to anyone who wants to stay informed, but is hard pressed to find the time to research many journals. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Ray:THE WEEK Magazine is a good magazine. I replaced my subscription to The Economist with it. Obviously, they are very different magazines but I was looking for something without much of a political bias and THE WEEK serves fairly well as an unbiased presentation of news stories harvested from various sources. 4.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Jo Ann Walsh:THE WEEK is a wonderful news magazine. It covers all the current events from all over the world. It gives you a much greater story than what you see on your local news channels. The articles are not too long and it takes me just about a week to read. I look forward to finding "THE WEEK" in my mailbox. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: bret kadison:THE WEEK magazine is amazing. It is basically an executive summary of THE WEEK. I don’t have time to read newspapers every day, but this gives me more than enough info to talk about at cocktail parties. It is like watching every news channel from all over the world, except you get it in a magazine every week. I highly recommend THE WEEK magazine. 4.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Pezhman Jatala:THE WEEK magazine is by far the best source of news I have been able to get my hands on. These days, it is hard to find a news source that isn't biased towards liberal or conservative. The fact that "THE WEEK" expresses both sides of the story is what makes the magazine so balanced and thoughtful. It is also a perfect source of world news, something that is difficult to find, as most American news sources act as though the rest of the world didn't exist aside from what is related to Iraq. The articles are short and concise, giving me the ability to find and learn a large amount of varied information over a very short time. "THE WEEK" is a MUST read. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Nancy Wilson:THE WEEK magazine offers intelligent reviews of the past weeks news stories in a concise and easy to read format. I always find a new interesting article. It has also helped my conversation skills when I am with friends and want to participate in current event discussions with them. It is also easy to fit in a small bag or computer case to pick up and read when you have a few moments to kill on a commute. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Nicole Rowan:At our house, you will often hear two things... "THE WEEK arrived today" and "Where is THE WEEK?" because it travels from room to room. Because the magazine is one that you can pick up and read a few minutes here and there, it can really be slowly enjoyed until the next one arrives.
From Health and Science, International Perspectives, Music, book, museum and theater reviews, financial tidbits and business news ( and much much more!)... it ends with an always random, always relevant and interesting Last Word--- you will learn about something you never really think about... but WILL talk about with your friends and so on.
Last week there was an article about a world renowned classical musician and what happened when he played some of the most difficult pieces in a DC subway station.... the response was astounding (in other words, barely anyone even glanced up at this amazing musician, let alone stop to listen even briefly!).
Love THE WEEK... and at this price, it is a great bargain! 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Rhett:I am a 60 year old guy who loves to read. Until a couple years ago I had never heard of THE WEEK. The area we moved to a few years ago has a table in the entrance of the library. It is kind of a free magaazine stop where you can drop off your old magazines and maybe take a few new ones home. This is the first place I had ever seen THE WEEK. I took home a copy and was HOOKED for life. What a great, easy to read magazine that gives you different sides on a multitude of important domestic and international issues. 5.0

THE WEEK
Submitted By: Julie Keehn:I can't wait each week to receive my copy of THE WEEK magazine. In one clear and concise format it summarizes and reviews all of the top news stories. I usually read it from cover to cover the first night I get it and then pass my copy on to family members who do the same. THE WEEK provides balanced reporting and offers both sides of major issues as well as entertainment and educational items. This is definitely my favorite magazine. 5.0
