[THE WEEKLY STANDARD MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Kurt Wasserman:
The Weekly Standard Magazine is a fine magazine that provides a very much needed "other Side of the Fence" view on current events. I originally subscribed prior to the Presidential Election since I did not feel that the mainstream news services were providing objective coverage. I was expecting a partisan publication and was pleased to find that it was much more balanced than I originally thought. The staff writers have a keen eye and a concise method of conveying their points. In addition to the news, there were book reviews that put me on the trail of several excellent reads. This is well worth it.

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: rick newton:I received The Weekly Standard as a gift for Xmas 2004. I enjoyed it so much that I gave them as gifts this Xmas. I found the articles to be thoroughly researched, the positions taken clearly articulated and persuasive. It has been a pleasure to read each week. 5.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: Steve Kirwan:The Weekly Standard Magazine provides incisive information about key issues facing our nation and the world. The articles are timely and well written, and reflect a more conservative outlook of government and politics. It is a must read for anyone seeking an honest voice in the sea of slanted media. 5.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: courtney tieman:The Weekly Standard Magazine provides me with an alternative view on contemporary topics from many daily newspapers and other magazines. It has a conservative flair to it, that when paired with more mainstream publications, give me an opportunity to form informed and balanced opinions/thoughts. This is a great publication, and I highly recommend it to everyone. 4.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: CJ Cogburn:Subscribers to The Weekly Standard Magazine are keenly aware of the conservative insight offered by Editor William Kristol within the confines of this magazine and as a sought-after speaker nation wide. What readers of the Standard also enjoy are the cadre of writers that Kristol and managing editors Claudia Anderson and Richard Starr have assembled that seek not only the affirming conservative viewpoint, but also offer a well-constructed, dissenting voice when necessary regarding today's most pertinent political issues. 5.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: David Weidman:As the neo-conservative weekly political organ of record, The Weekly Standard magazine is indeed, in my opinion, the bar by which to measure all other conservative magazines. The magazine is thorough, diverse, making it a pleasure to read as each issue arrives at my post box. The publication is written to a level that is simply unmatched, and offers truly superb prose, art, literature reviews, and political tracts in a concise, elegant manner. 5.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: J. Bennett:My reason for ordering a subscription to "The Weekly Standard" was to balance most news magazines "liberal" bent. It indeed does give opportunity to see a variety of view points, which is what the American public should be reading. Thanks. J. Bennett 4.0

The Weekly Standard
Submitted By: Christina Brundage:The Weekly Standard Magazine is an excellent way to keep up with the news. I find the "Casual" page a waste and there are too many book reviews, but overall a great magazine subscription. 5.0
