[WHERE TO RETIRE MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Don Leipprandt: Where should we retire? This is a question that millions of baby boomers are asking. Well, I know that I don't have the time or resources to travel around the continent to determine areas that we like or don't like. This magazine subscription helps us to focus our attention on areas that offer what we are looking for. Where to Retire magazine explains climate, cultural and sports attractions, health care, cost of living including tax implications, etc. This helps us to determine where we will be vacationing for the next few years to help us make one of our biggest life decisions, where to retire!

Where To Retire Magazine has a lot of articles with important information on the best places to retire for your special circumstances, finances, health issues, etc. They even print the annual "Cost of Living Index" report published by the Dept. of Consumer Affairs every year. I haven't received my first issue yet, but as a disabled retired State employee, I'm very excited to receive it.

Where To Retire Magazine has been an excellent edition to my parents home. I bought this as a gift for my father last year and continued his subscription for this year as well. He loves it. He can not wait for it to arrive. He has yet to retire but this magazine provides countless ideas and suggestions for what to do before and during retirement. As his daughter in my mid twenties I must admit I too enjoy reading through the magazine to know what to expect and prepare for later on in life. Thank you for this GREAT magazine!! I look forward to subscribing yet again next year!

Where To Retire magazine is useful on a number of fronts. First, it gives you plenty of ideas for things you should consider before relocating in retirement (taxes, starting over in a new location, activities, making friends etc). Keeping these in mind while reading articles on different possible retirement locations is invaluable since you can relate the details in each article to these considerations and your own personal preferences. It also has plenty of web links/advertisements/contacts so you can get additional information on various locations you might be interested in. Second, it is a great way to choose places you might be interested in for a short vacation so you can see first hand what the location has to offer. Finally, each issue has a main theme (i.e. great walking towns, great college towns, low cost towns, etc) and the articles are rather thorough. All in all, I find this magazine to be a great choice for those within a few years of retirement who like the idea of relocating and would like to support their ideas with real data.

If you're looking for an outstanding periodical that will give you plenty of "food for thought" about your choice of retirement location, then Where To Retire Magazine is a great magazine. It covers the entire U.S. and is packed with information and also has the "information cards" that enable you to obtain further information for free from other sources also. This is highly recommended!

The magazine, Where To Retire, grabbed my eye while I was waiting in my dentist's office. At first glance of the cover, I knew I'd like this magazine! The variety of well-written articles is beyond what similar publications include. For instance Low-Tax towns, and costs of housing, as well as providing phone numbers and websites to contact for more information. My husband and I are looking to retire where we can be part of a friendly laid-back community and also where we might choose to work in areas other than fast food. Where To Retire covers many of our interests like tips on selling our home, and moving. There's also weather, and costs of living in prospective cities. Our research is made simpler having this magazine in our home and I'm sure many other readers of this magazine agree.

Where To Retire Magazine is certainly an entree into the world of retirement and relocation. With great statistics, insight, tips and relevant information, I have been very pleased with their assessments and suggestions. I have also used WTR to target several vacations - checking out the reviewed communities and activities in the areas.

I've subscribed to this wonderful magazine for several years. I'm planning to retire in 5-6 years and Where To Retire magazine has helped me narrow down my choices. The magazine reviews towns large and small all over America and it gives you all the information you need to make an informed decision. I keep all my back issues for future reference. Where To Retire magazine is a wonderful source for "seniors" (or anyone else for that matter!)) To search housing possibilities in all parts of the U.S. We are almost ready to retire, but have no idea of where we want to go, so this is the perfect way to check out different areas and compare costs. This magazine gives information on cost of living, housing choices, local points of interest which should help in making a final retirement decision. We recommend it highly!
