Road and Track Magazine is one of the best magazines out there! The insight and technical knowledge that the writers bring to every issue is amazing. The amusing sub-articles to the primary reviews are fantastic. The cut-away view and statistical breakdown accompanying the car revues are un-equaled in any other magazine, and I have read almost all of them. The cars picked for this magazine are almost always my style of cars (sport and sport touring). Road & Track absolutely hits the mark for what I am looking for in an automobile magazine. This magazine has the perfect mix of Tech. and Critique.

Submitted By: Stuart S.:There are lots of car magazines on the market, such as Automobile, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, and Auto Week, and each one fills a specific niche. As for Road & Track, it leans strongly towards the high-performance sedan and exotic sports car market for the dreamer in us. Road & Track has well-written articles with great photos of exotics like Saleen, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Z06, Viper, etc. and other performance cars like BMW/M, MBZ/AMG, Jaguar/R, and Audi/S, and Dodge/SRT. But if you need a magazine that covers practical motoring, then get Motor Trend, Popular Science or Consumer Reports instead of Road & Track and stop dreaming. The cars covered by Road & Track aren't owned by the most blue collar folk (or even most white collar executives); they're owned by the folks who have second homes in Aspen, including Fortune 100 executives, entertainers and movie and sports stars, and Saudi princes. For the money (well under $1/issue), Road & Track is a cheap escape and fun read down fantasy road. 4.0
