For anyone interested in American history and archeology, Ancient American Magazine is a "must" in my opinion. They are an antidote to the established theories currently observed in most colleges and universities as fact without question. By publishing thinking and researching outside the box, they bring to light some very important and interesting finds and alternate theories. Many such finds are not in other archeology magazines. Such fearless publishing is a breath of fresh air!

We love this magazine-- it's the REAL THING! Thomas Edison said major problems can only be solved by amateurs, as the professionals are so boxed in by their training... and here we have articles written in the field, literally, by MidWestern farmers and their ilk who turn up huge human skulls, beautiful metal shields etc etc etc. The Smithsonian has betrayed us, hiding such 'anecdotal finds' in the huge storerooms of Indiana Jones infamy. Often written in picturesque style, the articles inform us of a history unrevealed in mainstream education but substantiated by writers of 125 years ago such as Ignatius Donnelly.

Love this magazine. Lots to make you think. My own efforts found a Mr. Bascom in Stanley County, NC who did his own dig on Rocky Creek, and finally stopped at a camp fire with coals which were carbon dated. Believe me, these folks were as early or earlier than the west coast Americans. Problem in NC is getting the state folks to sit up and look. Ken
