Games Magazine offers all sorts of games to pass the time with. Avid puzzle solvers can find any kind of game to suit their fancy. There are word games, logic puzzles, photo mysteries and many different games that make you stretch your thinking. Even the cover is a puzzle to play. Readers are welcome to submit puzzles of their own and each issue has these entries on a page called Wild Cards. I highly recommend this magazine and look forward to each issue.

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Kiersten Pasciak:This is the first time I have subscribed to "Games" magazine and I am really blown away by the variety and the different levels of complexity of the games. I have been trying out a lot of new types of puzzles and enjoying myself. As an added bonus, this magazine seems to be full of enough material to actually last from one issue to the next. (I was concerned that I would blow through an issue in a day or two) I recently ordered a subscription for my dad as well, as he also likes logic and math games. 5.0

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Danielle Perez:I had a subscription to Games Magazine about twenty years ago, and I loved it. Then, college came and life got busy. I bought an issue recently and remembered why I loved it. My husband and I spent hours doing the puzzles, from crosswords to more complex and fun puzzles. It's a great reprieve from stress, and they're fun to do on your own or with someone else. 5.0

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Deborah Westerfield:You can do umpteen different puzzles online in front of your computer everyday but does that really compare to relaxing in a big comfortable chair, pulling up a light blanket, a sip of your favorite wine, a little Joshua Bell violin concerto in the background and 2 hours of uninterrupted puzzle solving? Games Magazine covers the whole gambit of the puzzle spectrum from the whimsical to the down-right nasty, that even master mystery solvers will spend time scratching their head in confusion and isn't that what puzzle solving is all about.
The magazine always starts with a number of full color glossy pages of nifty rumbus, photo, game-like and quiz puzzles then moves on to puzzles rated with a 1 star, 2 star, etc. system that include Crosswords, Cryptograms, even a high-brow version of Hangman and many more that provide hours and hours of entertainment. All answers to puzzles are self-contained within the issue except for one contest puzzle. There is even a review section of the newest and latest Games and a schedule of Competitions of all sorts.
We've been loyal readers from the first issue. I'm always glad to be the one to get the mail on the day it arrives in our home so I can claim my favorite puzzles. 5.0

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Jennifer Nicholas:Games Magazine is a truly great magazine with both challenging puzzles and interesting articles. My entire family can find an entertaining puzzle. The games range from easy mazes with a twist, to the worlds most difficult crossword. The puzzles are a step above your grocery store pencil puzzle book. Plus this magazine has fantastic articles about new games and events. I look to this magazine as a source of information for choosing what games I will buy for my kids. 5.0

Submitted By: barbara hershey:Games Magazine brings an array of different types of puzzles with each issue. There are visual puzzles that challenge you to look in new ways. There are puzzles that use numbers. There are logic puzzles. Traditional crossword puzzles and many creative variations are in each issue. My favorite is Color by Numbers where a picture emerges from a grid as you figure out where you color in and where you leave blank spaces. I look forward to receiving each issue. It's great exercise for stretching your brain! 5.0

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Keith Rose:I have been a fan of Games Magazine since the early 1980's, when a friend gave me a subscription as a gift. There is a great variety of puzzle types, ranging from old standards like crossword puzzles and word searches to the truly unique. In addition to the puzzles are news and reviews of board games and computer games, including the annual Games Top 100 list. Being a board game fan, this list is very valuable in helping decide what new games to buy. You can only buy so many, and their recommendations help a lot. 5.0

Games Magazine
Submitted By: Tracy Stroud:When I was a kid I used to get Games Magazine. Back then I loved getting the magazine every month because it was an interesting and fun publication. I always looked forward to the mail coming in hopes that a Games Magazine would be in it. Today, as a teacher, I realize the value of those days. When we problem solve, we help our brains grow developing new connections and ways of thinking. This serves not only to entertain, but to enrich, enhance, and better our lives and ways of looking at the world. After all of these years, I am now purchasing Games again, partially for my own daughter, and partially for myself! 5.0
