Good Old Days Looking Back
Submitted By: betty salinas-MCKINNEY:I was sitting in the waiting room of a local hospital, waiting on a friend and picked up a magazine there called Good Old Days Magazine. Usually I just thumb through the magazines to kill time, but this one was different. Each and every story in it was truly inspiring, and true. I remembered my mother talking about some of the things she had lived thru as a child and as a young married woman, "way back then". There were stories like that in this magazine. When it was time for me to leave, I ask the attendant there if I could take it. She said yes, as most of them are just donated and it was a year old. At home I finished it and mailed it to my dad. I called him the next week to see if he enjoyed it. Being 75 years old, he usually doesn’t read magazines as he considers it something a woman would do. He was so awestruck, by the stories and content that he wanted to know where to buy the magazine. 5.0
