There is valuable information in each issue and I find that I refer back to them frequently. I can't tell you how many times I have looked through the listings that share ideas for great restaurants and other things to enjoy in the city. I have lived in Los Angeles most of my 30 years, and I find it is tough to come up with ideas for new experiences in the city off of the top of my head. I look into my old issues of Los Angeles Magazine for ideas based on the reviews and suggestions provided. I have never been disappointed. A few of the major articles are interesting, but this magazine definitely keeps up on the hot new places to eat, including their signature meals, best times to visit, and prices. They also do a good job of listing the popular restaurants in each region of the city. Whenever I'm looking for restaurants in a particular part of town, I always flip to this magazine for ideas. It's better than the Zagat guide in that regard because it's frequently updated with the hot new places, and the listings are concise and easy to scan through. I can't say I use the Los Angeles Magazine for much else (although they occasionally have fun articles about stuff happening in the city), but its well worth the price for interesting ideas of where to eat! 4.0

I've read this magazine for many years, and it is up-to-date on; fashion, new restaurants, movies, as well as real estate and various events happening throughout the year.
I really love the real estate section with the beautiful homes listed for sale. I've seen some of the most magnificent homes and views, although well out of my price range, fun to look at.

I haven't read the magazine in the past couple of years on a monthly basis, but every time I've picked up an issue in the doctor's office or such, I have found as interesting to read as other popular entertainment magazines. That's why I am ordering my subscription now. The Editor's picks are truly real picks and not just something put in the magazine because every other publisher does it. I've found some of the celebrity interviews most surprising and often wonder why the more popular entertainment magazines were not able to get as good an interview from the celebrity. I first became introduced to the magazine while staying at a hotel and I must say I really even like the quality of the paper it's printed on. It feels and looks regal. 4.0
