Strings Magazine is a down to earth Violin Magazine that is a great read. It gives you up to date info about what is going on with some of the best String players in the country. Summer festivals are listed and some of the exceptional Strings schools in the country are also highlighted. My favorite articles include stories about the professional circuit of Violin Players and Strings performers. I really love reading articles about famous players and what they enjoy most about playing their instruments. They also do a terrific job of reviewing new music, which I love. I think Strings is the only truly accessible magazine out there for Strings players and string appreciators. Melissa Geer

I rush out every month and purchase every beading magazine in stock at my local book store. One lucky day, I chanced upon Stringing Magazine! Lo and behold, there were treasures on every page!!! I wait for every seasonal change and scurry off to seek more...Stringing Magazine is the absolute BEST beading magazine out there. I find so many projects that I can alter to make exclusively my own...everyone thinks I'm a master beader! Thanks for such a wonderful magazine!

Strings Magazine targets people who play the violin, viola, cello, or double bass and offers an array of articles ranging from concert reviews to tips on technique. Playable music examples often accompany feature articles; advice on maintaining these persnickety instruments in top condition is regularly included. The magazine is very similar to "Strad," but less expensive and not as flashy. Beginning students of string instruments will find the magazine's subject matter either intimidating or inspiring; more accomplished players, particularly performers, will be more satisfied with content.

I love Strings Magazine. I returned to playing the violin after setting it aside for many years while my kids were little. This magazine is an inspiration and motivator for me as I rediscover the joys of playing the violin.
