Strings Magazine is a down to earth Violin Magazine that is a great read. It gives you up to date info about what is going on with some of the best String players in the country.
Summer festivals are listed and some of the exceptional Strings schools in the country are also highlighted. My favorite articles include stories about the professional circuit of Violin Players and Strings performers. I really love reading articles about famous players and what they enjoy most about playing their instruments. They also do a terrific job of reviewing new music, which I love. I think Strings is the only truly accessible magazine out there for Strings players and string appreciators.
